Custom made for mobile content provider Mobile Candy, a trading name of Telserve, the branded mini will take part in 8 meetings and 16 races with Mobile Candy’s Managing Director Charles Bloom at the wheel. The season will start at Snetterton in April and conclude at Donnington Park in October 2006. Both the car and the driver will sport the recently re-branded Redstone Telecom logo.
The Challenge has 32 drivers and will visit some of the most challenging circuits in the UK as well as Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. Developed by Mike Cooper as a tribute to his late father John’s longstanding association with MINI and motorsport, the MINI Challenge is a unique one-make racing formula. Fun racing is at the core of the MINI Challenge, an affordable route for novices and amateurs to experience the thrills of MINI motorsport.
Mike Cooper’s concept has been adopted by MINI worldwide and is being rolled out to various markets, with Germany, Belgium and Bahrain already signed up and many more set to follow.
